On 3rd June 2019 Professor Allen-Mersh attended a talk at the Royal Society of Medicine entitled ‘Eat, move, live’. Discussing the role of physical activity in sustaining health – understanding that weight stigmatisation is counter-productive and can lead to weight gain – the genetic susceptibility to environmental cues and how to support patients to eat and move well.
