On 25th November Professor Allen-Mersh attended the Royal Society of Medicine for a talk entitled “Cancer control in low and middle income countries: New solutions to evolving challenges”. A multidisciplinary faculty of prominent speakers from around the globe discussed the importance of effective cancer control in low and middle-income countries and highlighted the magnitude of the disparities and issues that currently exist.
